The first day of filming went well for the
most part. I met my crew at the park and helped set up equipment and plan
rehearsed the shots with robin. Once Courtney (the actor playing Nathan) phoned
to tell me of his arrival, I drove in my Car to pick him and his chaperone up
from the train station, They followed me in their car back to the park. I
introduced Courtney and his chaperone to the crew and asked Courtney to use the
parks football changing room to get changed in to his uniform costume. While
Courtney was the only one on set, we filmed his few solo shots and got reaction
shots from him. Eventually David (the actor playing Pete Walsh.) phoned to say
he was at the train station, I drove to the station and picked up David. We
then used had David get in to costume and filmed the Courtney and David shots.
When Nicole (the actress portraying Georgia.) arrived on set we also shot her
scenes.
Due to Nicole’s lack of clothing in the
park scenes and her house scenes, I made sure that as soon as the camera was
off or she was off screen that she was wrapped in a warm coat (the weather was
extremely cold that day.)
Nicole informed us that due to a family
emergency she would not be available to film on the next day. This forced us to
ask the shop to allow us to film during opening hours that day. Fortunately
they agreed, we filmed in all of Nicole’s shop scenes in close ups or with only
Courtney also in shot. We then went on to film the scenes that take place
outside Georgia’s house.
In the end I am impressed that we able to
film as much as we did. (far more than we expected to.)
