Today I have contacted Nicole Pogmore about potentially portraying the character of Georgia. Mart student Helena Beeson who has worked with her before recommended Nicole to me. I viewed her online acting profile page and watched her showreel. I felt she was a good actress and looked perfect for the role. I sent the following message to her:
Hello Nicole,
Helena Beeson recommended you after I asked
if she knew any excellent actresses that may be interested in working on a
short film.
My name is Alex Coates I am a director in
my final year of studying film and media production at Sheffield Hallam
University, I am working with a group of 6 on my final major project which is a
short comedy about a paperboy. I am currently in need of an actress for a 2 day
film shoot in sheffield. I feel you would be excellent for the role of Georgia,
an important character in the this film.
